The Royal Ottawa Hospital for Mental Health Research needed a web-based platform, HardHat, to support individuals in early-stage or workplace-induced depression.
The platform would use educational modules and self-assessment tools to help users build problem-solving skills and monitor progress.

Solution

Designed and developed a complete web and responsive mobile stress assessment and coaching platform for the Royal Ottawa Hospital.  The application included assessment courses, automated test results that assign patients to further courses or to a dedicated counsellor or send to the hospital for doctors appointment.

Impact

247 Labs created a problem-solving application rather than a one-size-fits-all solution, recognizing that users approach challenges differently. The app records facts to enhance problem-solving skills, tracks progress with feedback, and customizes programs to meet individual needs with support from remote coaches.
