Position Overview:

We are seeking an ERP & Systems Integration Specialist with proven experience in AS400 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 migration and Shopify integration. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise data migration, ERP customization, and eCommerce synchronization workflows. This role involves working closely with business and technical teams to modernize legacy systems and ensure seamless operations between ERP, CRM, and eCommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Migration Planning & Strategy:

  • Assess the current AS400 environment, mapping business logic, data structures, and workflows for migration.
  • Develop a detailed migration roadmap to Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations or Business Central), focusing on minimal disruption and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, integration touchpoints, and success metrics.

Data Migration & Integration:

  • Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from AS400 to Dynamics 365.
  • Configure D365 modules and custom integrations to align with client business processes.
  • Build and maintain bi-directional data synchronization between D365 and Shopify, ensuring seamless product, order, inventory, and customer data flow.

System Configuration & Customization:

  • Customize D365 entities, workflows, and reports as needed for business use cases.
  • Utilize APIs, EDI, or middleware (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, Boomi, or MuleSoft) for system integration.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security best practices.

Testing & Deployment:

  • Develop and execute test plans for each migration phase, ensuring data accuracy and functional integrity.
  • Collaborate with QA and development teams to resolve issues during integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Oversee deployment and post-migration validation, including user training and documentation.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and system optimization recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Shopify, and ERP migration trends to recommend process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience with ERP migration or integration projects, including AS400 modernization.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O or Business Central) configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Experience integrating or syncing data between D365 and Shopify (or similar platforms such as Magento, BigCommerce).
  • Proficiency with data migration tools, APIs, SQL, and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with Azure integration services, middleware, or automation tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
