Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud AWS Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in architecting and implementing AWS-based cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Serverless frameworks, and Laravel Vapor, along with a proven track record of designing scalable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructures. This is a fully remote role, offering flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to innovative cloud projects.

Employment Type: Full-time / Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud architectures using AWS services.
  • Build and optimize serverless applications using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and related services.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage applications using Laravel Vapor.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver efficient cloud solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve cloud infrastructure performance.
  • Stay updated with AWS best practices, tools, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS.
  • Strong expertise in AWS Lambda, Serverless architectures, and Vapor deployments.
  • Proficiency with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and automation tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and cost optimization in AWS environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS).
  • Knowledge of Laravel framework and PHP application scaling.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certifications.
