Energy Storage
Dispatch every storage and charging asset against the market, not a spreadsheet.
Why teams choose 247 Labs
We have built operational and data systems for more than a decade, including platforms that ingest device telemetry and reconcile it with business records.
Clients stay with us for clear scoping, honest estimates and engineering that holds up when assets and market rules change.
Our teams have shipped integrations, dashboards and data products for environments where a late or wrong number has a real cost.
Challenge Map
Fix the gaps between the asset, the market and the invoice.
Storage and distributed assets earn money only when control, forecasts and settlement agree. Most losses sit in the handoffs between vendor portals, trading tools and finance.
State of charge sits in vendor portals, so dispatch runs on stale data.
We build a single monitoring layer that normalizes state of charge, power limits and alarms from each battery management system, then feeds dispatch schedules back to the site controller with a clear audit trail.
Strong fit for multi-vendor fleets.Every battery, charger and flexible load speaks a different protocol.
We build the aggregation and control layer that speaks OCPP, IEEE 2030.5 and vendor APIs, groups assets into a portfolio, and tracks each device's availability and response against what was promised.
Best for DER and virtual power plant programs.Awards, meter data and revenue are reconciled by hand each month.
We integrate market and meter feeds with your asset records so awards, delivered energy and settlement lines are matched automatically, with exceptions queued for review before invoices go out.
Useful when settlement runs in spreadsheets.Services
Storage, charging and DER software built around one asset class and one market at a time.
We start with a single fleet, a single data path and a single revenue or reporting goal, then extend once the first workflow is trusted.
Storage monitoring platform
Real-time state of charge, state of health, temperature and alarm views across sites and battery vendors.
Dispatch and scheduling tools
Charge and discharge schedules driven by price forecasts, site limits and warranty constraints, with operator override.
DER and VPP aggregation
Portfolio control for batteries, EV chargers, flexible loads and distributed generation behind one interface.
EV charging network software
Charger management, session records, smart charging rules and driver or fleet portals over OCPP.
Market and settlement integration
Connect market data, meter reads and bids to your records so revenue lines reconcile without rework.
Hydro, hydrogen and bioenergy reporting
Production, efficiency and compliance reporting for generation assets that sit outside solar and wind.
Case Studies
Proof for device integration, data validation and energy-sector pipelines.
Elite HRV: reliable Bluetooth connectivity across many device types
50% growth in daily active users
247 Labs built a cross-platform app and Laravel back end that pairs with a wide range of Bluetooth hardware and turns raw readings into analytics. The same discipline applies to batteries and chargers that each behave differently.

World Vision: an automated validation engine for incoming field data
40% higher data accuracy
247 Labs designed a scoring engine that checks every incoming record against prior data and flags suspect entries, then feeds Microsoft Dynamics. That is the pattern behind meter-data checks before settlement.

30% faster data processing
247 Labs built an ETL framework with real-time dashboards that pulls data from many sources, with role-based access and strong security. It shows how we handle multi-source reporting for an energy organization.

The scoping, build, optimization and control layers storage and DER software needs.
We help teams choose the right asset and market starting point, build reliable device and market integrations, optimize dispatch, and keep control actions traceable.
Pick the first fleet and revenue case
We map asset types, vendor interfaces, market products and data owners before any build starts.
- Asset and protocol inventory
- Revenue stream prioritization
- Vendor API and BMS access review
- Pilot scope and success measures
Build dependable device and market links
We connect batteries, chargers, meters and market systems into one data path that survives vendor changes.
- Modbus, MQTT and OCPP gateways
- IEEE 2030.5 and vendor API adapters
- Market data and bid submission feeds
- Telemetry store with replay
Turn forecasts into dispatch schedules
We build the decision layer that sets charge and discharge plans within site, grid and warranty limits.
- Price and load forecasting
- State-of-charge constrained scheduling
- Fleet-level aggregation logic
- Operator override and what-if views
Keep control actions and reports traceable
We define who can command assets, how commands are logged and how reported numbers trace to meter data.
- Command audit trail
- Role-based access to controls
- Meter data quality checks
- Regulatory and ESG report exports
Tech Stack
Storage and DER software has to speak the protocols your assets already use.
We connect batteries, inverters, chargers and market systems with open standards where they exist and vendor APIs where they do not.
247 Labs and there team were highly effective in their work, it is rare to find speed, detail and perfection, they have all three. Our team had an explosive idea, 247 Labs helped us get it off the ground.

Business Benefits
Better visibility and control turn flexible assets into reliable revenue.
The value comes from knowing what each asset can do, acting on it at the right time, and proving it afterward.
One view of the fleet
See charge level, availability and faults across vendors without logging into separate portals.
Dispatch that respects limits
Schedule against price while staying inside site, grid and warranty constraints.
Fewer settlement disputes
Match awards, delivered energy and invoices automatically so differences surface early.
Faster DER onboarding
Add new batteries or chargers through tested adapters instead of one-off integrations.
Operator trust
Every command and override is logged, so teams can explain what happened and why.

Start Your Storage ProjectFAQ
Common questions before a storage or DER software project starts.
Yes. We write one adapter per vendor interface, usually Modbus, a REST API or MQTT, and map each to a common data model. Dispatch and reporting then work the same way for every device.
Yes. We build charger management on OCPP 2.0.1 and can plan for OCPP 2.1, which adds bidirectional charging and DER control. We also handle older 1.6 chargers through a compatibility layer.
Rules differ by market operator, so we start with the operator's current tariff and technical requirements. We then build aggregation, telemetry and reporting to match, and flag where your compliance team must confirm interpretation.
One fleet, one data path and one goal, such as a monitoring dashboard with scheduled dispatch for a few sites. After that works in operation we extend to more assets and markets.
