Wind Energy
Know which turbines need attention before the wind is gone.
Why teams choose 247 Labs
We have built operational and data systems for more than a decade, including the time-series and reporting work wind fleets depend on.
Clients stay with us for plain scoping and engineering that holds up when site data is messy and incomplete.
Our team has shipped dashboards, integrations, and data pipelines that asset managers use every day.
Challenge Map
Fix the gaps between the turbine and the asset manager.
Wind data is plentiful but scattered across OEM portals, SCADA exports, and spreadsheets. The work is getting it into one trusted place where the right person sees the right turbine first.
Turbine faults surface only after a stop, and each OEM portal shows a different picture.
We build condition monitoring layers that combine SCADA signals, alarms, and vibration or temperature trends into per-turbine health scores, so crews see developing problems and plan crane and technician visits earlier.
Strong fit for mixed-OEM fleets.Availability and curtailment figures take days to reconcile and get disputed.
We automate availability calculations from status and event logs, aligned to the IEC 61400-26-1 information model, and separate curtailment, grid outage, and turbine downtime so every figure traces back to its source.
Best for teams reporting to owners.Asset managers juggle several sites, forecast feeds, and work orders with no single view.
We build fleet dashboards that bring production, forecast versus actual, open faults, and maintenance work into one web application, with role-based views for operators, owners, and technicians.
Useful across multi-site portfolios.Services
Software services for wind developers and operators.
We scope wind projects around one fleet, one data path, and one reporting problem, so the first release replaces a real manual process.
Turbine data integration
Connect SCADA, condition monitoring, met mast, and OEM data into one clean time-series store.
Condition monitoring analytics
Build anomaly detection and health scoring for gearboxes, generators, and pitch and yaw systems.
Availability and curtailment reporting
Calculate and report time-based and production-based availability with a clear audit trail.
Forecast and resource data pipelines
Bring in weather, wind resource, and production forecasts and compare them with actual output.
Fleet dashboards and owner portals
Give asset managers, owners, and lenders one secure place to see site and turbine performance.
Maintenance workflow integration
Link alerts to work orders, spares, and technician scheduling in your existing maintenance tools.
Case Studies
Proof for live portfolio views, data trust, and energy-sector delivery.
Skyline: a real-time tracking app for a multi-location portfolio
35% increase in tracking and reporting efficiency
247 Labs built a mobile app with interactive maps, a status dashboard, and cross-device sync, showing how a spread-out portfolio can be managed from one live view. The same pattern applies to a wind fleet across many sites.

World Vision: automated scoring of field data
40% higher data accuracy
247 Labs designed a validation engine that scores every incoming entry and flags suspect records. This is the approach we apply to sensor and SCADA data with gaps, drift, and stuck values.
Read case study →US Department of Energy: a custom ETL framework
30% faster data processing
247 Labs built an ETL framework and real-time dashboards for a US Department of Energy budgeting and planning operation. It is a budgeting platform rather than a wind project, but it shows delivery in a secure, compliance-minded energy setting.

The data, analytics, and reporting layers a wind fleet needs.
We help operators decide which questions the data must answer, build the pipelines and models behind them, and keep reported numbers defensible.
Start with the decisions the fleet must make
We map turbines, data sources, and owners, then pick the first decisions to improve, such as fault planning or availability reporting.
- Fleet and data source inventory
- Failure mode and alarm review
- Reporting obligations by owner
- Phased build roadmap
Connect turbines, weather, and work orders
We build the ingestion, storage, and application layers that carry turbine data from site to screen.
- SCADA and OEM data ingestion
- Time-series storage and APIs
- Forecast and met data feeds
- Web and mobile apps for crews
Turn signals into ranked turbine actions
We add models and rules that surface developing faults and underperformance with enough context to act.
- Anomaly detection per turbine
- Power curve performance checks
- Alarm ranking and noise reduction
- Forecast versus actual analysis
Keep reported performance defensible
We define how availability, curtailment, and data quality are calculated and logged so numbers survive an audit.
- Availability rule definitions
- Event and calculation audit trail
- Role-based access for owners
- Data quality monitoring
Tech Stack
Wind software should plug into the systems already on site and in the cloud.
We work with the protocols, historians, and cloud services wind operators already run, so new software reads existing data instead of replacing it.
247 Labs and there team were highly effective in their work, it is rare to find speed, detail and perfection, they have all three. Our team had an explosive idea, 247 Labs helped us get it off the ground.

Business Benefits
Better turbine data means fewer surprises and faster reporting.
The value shows up in planned repairs, defensible availability figures, and less time spent assembling reports.
Earlier fault visibility
See developing component problems sooner so repairs can be planned around weather and crane availability.
Defensible availability figures
Calculate availability and curtailment the same way every month, with each number traceable to events.
One fleet view
Give asset managers a single place for production, faults, and forecasts across sites and OEMs.
Less manual reporting
Replace spreadsheet assembly of owner and lender reports with scheduled, automated output.
Quieter alarms
Rank and group alarms so technicians open the few that matter first.

Start Your Wind ProjectFAQ
Common questions before a wind software project starts.
Yes. We normalise status codes, alarms, and signals from each OEM into one data model, so dashboards and reports behave the same across the fleet. The mapping is documented so new turbines can be added.
Not to start. SCADA signals such as temperatures, power, and rotor speed can reveal drift on many components. Where you already have condition monitoring data, we combine it with SCADA for finer diagnosis.
We calculate availability from status and event data using documented rules, often aligned to IEC 61400-26-1, and keep an audit trail. Contract-specific exclusions are configured per site so the report matches the agreement.
Usually the data ingestion for one or two sites and a single dashboard that answers a real question, such as open faults or monthly availability. Once that is trusted, we extend it to more turbines and reports.
